There are lots of things that go on in a church. We are a people that don't just gather on Sundays, but look for more opportunities to grow and serve the Lord. We call these ministries - that is, they are ways that we minister to one another. We try to facilitate opportunities for everyone. If you have questions about anything here, or are wondering about something that you don't see, please contact the church!

Kids
At church there are lots of opportunities for kids to learn about Jesus. We desire and strive to be channels of God's love to the children of Community CRC, to teach sound scriptural truths, to be effective examples of Christ's love, and to present relevant application of biblical principles for character transformation, in order that our children may become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Part of how we do that is Sunday School (ages 3-Grade 3) which begins part way through the service and Infant and Toddler nursery is offered in the second service.

Girls
GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior) is the go-to ministry for girls’ spiritual growth, providing real answers to the challenges girls face. GEMS seeks to provide a safe, welcoming environment to learn about God and remind your girl she’s seen, known, and loved. Through our programs, one-on-one Bible studies, and girls’ activity kits, girls will find a place to belong and be loved. GEMS meet Mondays 6:30-8:30. Check the calendar for any changes. The girls are Grade 4 - Grade 8.
-
Boys
Cadets is a program that meets weekly and helps boys become more Christlike in all areas of life. Each meeting includes assembling with the entire club for group activities, Bible study, projects, and other physical activity. Cadets meets Mondays 7 - 8:30. The boys are Grade 4 - Grade 8. Check the calendar for any changes

Young people
Our young people love to gather. Those in high school meet Wednesdays from 7:30 - 9:30 at different locations. They spend time studying God's Word, playing games and hanging out.

deacon work
The Deacons of the church perform many tasks and do a great deal of work to take care of the people. The needs of individuals is not lost in the crowd of faces.
